Other hotels
The following web sites provide extensive information on hotels, transportation,
and tourist attractions in Boston.
We recommend you visit the one of the web sites above and book your accommodations
as soon as possible. Please see our Maps and Directions
page to view sample hotels and their proximity to the wedding events.
The two hotels closest to the church and reception venue are the Boston
Harbor Hotel and the Marriott
Long Wharf.
Due to the great differences in budgets and individual preferences, we
will not be reserving a "block of rooms" at any one hotel. Boston
has many different hotels in varying price ranges - something to satisfy
everyone.
Be sure to look for the words "downtown
Boston" when selecting a hotel. Any downtown Boston hotel
should be accessible to the extensive subway system (aka the "T").
Don’t be fooled by websites that promise “cheap Boston hotels”
and then send you 10 miles out to places like Woburn, Waltham or Burlington.
Even though the distance may appear small between these cities
and downtown Boston, the actual commute is difficult at best, and probably
impossible for anyone not familiar with the territory.

Getting around Boston
| Plane |

flying into Logan
Airport (BOS). |
| Subway |
Public transportation via the “T”
(aka the MBTA,
Boston’s subway system) is your best bet. |
| Walking |
Be sure to bring comfortable shoes, as Boston
is definitely a “walking city.” TripAdvisor
has a nice page with some suggestions for walking tours. |
| Water taxi |
If you are flying into Logan Airport, there is
a water
taxi that you can take from the airport to many different hotels/locations
along the harbor. |
